HASAL MISSION STATEMENT

Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anatolian High School is committed to providing high standard sustainable learning environment which supports students towards excellent academic achievement and also helps to develop personal growth for each student’s unique talent to achieve their potential. The school aims to provide opportunities for learners to become caring global citizens that are lifelong learners and principled successful individuals who will play an active part in the 21st century international community. The students are also encouraged to be compassionate and respectful to multiple perspectives as well as being proud of their national identity.  The basic principles HASAL adopted are shown as follows:

·       To support students to think critically and be open minded by producing new ideas that result in deeper understanding.

·       To learn and use as many languages as possible effectively and productively.

·       To raise awareness of respecting human values and emphasizing others as caring students.

·       To teach them scientifically and find out innovative solutions to the problems.

·       To be able to demonstrate to produce both skills and knowledge in new context as lifelong learners.

·       To show the ability of evaluating their performance that would give them a chance to improve their skills as reflective individuals.

·       To encourage them to be willing to take risks.
