HASAL IB  Philosophy

 

We believe that:

 

• The IB Diploma Program offered at Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anatolian High School is an academic and personal development process for students. The IB Learner Profile, which fosters individuals who are inquirers, risk-takers, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, knowledgeable, balanced, and reflective, serves as a fundamental component of our educational approach.

• Healthy relationships and effective communication between all members of the school community, especially the bond between students and teachers, form the basis of academic and personal development.

 

• HASAL offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students, teachers, parents and all school components are part of a learning community.

 

• In order for students to learn in the best way possible, it is essential that they feel happy and safe at school and actively participate in the learning process.

 

• Each student has their own interests, talents and learning styles. For this reason, we adopt an educational approach that takes into account individual differences and aim to provide appropriate opportunities for each student to maximize their potential.

 

• Individuals with international awareness can better understand different cultures by deeply knowing their own culture. This approach, which aims to understand cultural differences and discover common values, develops the awareness of world citizenship and contributes to building a more peaceful future.
