                                     ADMISSION  POLICY  

HASAL aims to establish effective, creative, healthy and welcoming environments for all learners to increase the participation of Diploma Programme and to produce various and more productive methods in teaching and assessment system in the school. Students who would like to participate in HASAL IBDP Programme should meet the following criteria to be eligible:

1. HASAL aims to open two IB classes; one class for Medical Department students and the other one for Engineering Department students.
2. The number of students in each IBDP class will be maximum 20.
3. In our school, the IB DP Program will be implemented in the 10th and 11th grade . As well as the courses in the IB DP Program, students are also required to attend courses specified by the Turkish Board of Education. (MEB)
4.  If more students than the quota would like to participate in the IB Program, then their English proficiency level and school score will be taken into account.  Students who would like to participate in the IB-DP Programme should have adequate skills in writing, listening, reading exam, which means total grade of the students' English level should be at least equal to 70%. 
5. Students will also take proficiency test for all subjects. Overall average grades for IB exams should be more than or equal to % 70.
6. Teachers 'recommendations will also be taken into account towards acceptance of students for IB-DP Programme.
7. The students that participate in this program are responsible for completing all assignments on time.
8. Students should not be involved in any disciplinary case.
9. To join the IB-DP Programme, students must be willing to complete   9 hour school day or 45 hours weekly schedule .
10. The school will determine the entrance fee for the IB-DP Programme which should be covered.
11. Parents should submit a completed application which includes all requisite forms and supporting documents to the school admissions team.
12.  Parents must certify all the information that is relevant to the application has been given to the school admission team.
